10/18/2020 Superintendent Hill's IMPORTANT MESSAGE

I’m writing tonight to share sad news. Mrs. Shawn VanDyke, a teacher at Wadsworth High School and in Wadsworth Wired, has passed away unexpectedly.

Starting tomorrow, our Crisis Response Team, along with assistance from the Medina County Crisis Response Team, will have trained crisis counselors available to meet with students and staff and continuing over the next few weeks as needed. Please contact your child's school office if you feel he/she is in need of additional assistance or complete the Crisis Team Support Form linked below.  A list of emergency support services are below.

We are sending this message to all families in our school community because it is hard for us to determine who will be impacted by this news and we want to make sure you are aware that assistance is available if your child needs it.

I ask that you keep the VanDyke family in your thoughts during this difficult time and respect their privacy.  If you have any questions regarding this message, please feel free to contact me at 330-335-1300 or ahill@wadsworthschools.org.
