My name is Amy Muhl and I am honored to be your child's music teacher. I have been a teacher in Wadsworth for over a decade and I am thrilled to be returning for my 19th year of teaching. This fall we are starting off learning about the "Science of Sound". We have a lot of student led songs and warm-ups this year and some kinesthetic and vocal warm-ups too. We are going to be using Tuning forks in class almost every day to work on matching pitch this year as well.
Students will all be learning the Star Spangled Banner, and God Bless America.
Kindergarteners: will be singing "We love Veterans" and "Caissons Go Rolling Along" the Army service song.
First Graders: will be singing "Anchors Aweigh" the Navy service song.
Second Graders: will be singing the "Marine's Hymn" the Marine's service song.
Third Graders: will be singing the "Off we go into the wild Blue Yonder" the Air Force service song.
Fourth Graders: will be singing the "Semper Paratus" the Coast Guard service song, and "Thank you Soldiers"
Valley View Veterans Day Program is Tuesday, November 12th at 9:30am in the Gymnasium, with a reception for Veterans to follow in the Cafeteria.
All our welcome to come honor our Veterans as the students of Valley View sing and honor our Veterans.
Students please try to wear Red, White and Blue to show our school patriotism!
