Beginning this year, Wadsworth City Schools are requiring fingerprint and background checks for those volunteers who are in the school on a regular basis. Volunteers who read with students in hallways and our extended learning areas are required to be approved by the Board of Education once their background check and fingerprints are cleared. Mr. Roberts will take the names of those volunteers wishing to have checks completed and notify the central office BEFORE you make an appointment to go through the process. ** IF you are volunteering on a limited basis (Soc Hop; Carnival; etc) you will not have to go through the process. ** You may make an appointment at the Charles Parsons Administration Building between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (not 12-1:00). The background/fingerprint checks will cost $46 to process (none of the money goes to the schools).
