Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Privacy

Wadsworth City Schools has had a long-term technology goal to offer students the privilege to bring their own electronic devices to school.  We have started our BYOD program at WHS, WMS, and CIS. Please click here to read the BYOD Privacy Statement for students and parents.



WMS Drama - Walk Two Moons

Friday, February 27th and Saturday, February 28th. The performances are at 7:30 p.m. at OJ Work Auditorium.

8th Grade Washington D.C. - last payment due & room assignments

Traveling Classrooms will be here on Wednesday (2/25/15) & Thursday (2/26/15) during lunch time (10:20 am - 11:50 am) to collect the final payment.

Room assignments will be done with students on Thursday (2/26/15) before lunch starts.

Important Dates for WMS


GPA Calculation and Correction

Academics take top priority at Wadsworth Middle and because of this; we are working to correct the inconsistencies seen below:

·  “+” and “-“ with grades was not calculating correctly

·  Honors classes were adjusted to the scale click here, mirroring that of WHS

·  Health is a new class this year and needed a credit attached to it, which was previously not done.  This affects the GPA calculation as well.

WHS Spring Musical Ticket Sale

The Wadsworth High School Drama Department presents:  The Addams Family:  A New Musical Comedy on March 19, 20, and 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the James R. McIlvaine Performing Arts Center at the high school.  Tickets can be ordered in advance by clicking here

In THE ADDAMS FAMILY: A New Musical Comedy, Wednesday Addams is all grown up and has fallen in love with a young man from a respectable, normal family.  Morticia does not know until they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.  The fun doesn’t stop throughout this entertaining musical.

Student Registration Moves to Administration Building

Effective June 1, 2014, registration of all students, regardless of grade level, will be completed at the Charles R. Parsons Administration Building, 524 Broad Street (330-336-3571).  Parents/Guardians registering their student(s) may complete the required paperwork (available online) and bring it to Mrs. Linda McCann, Dept. of Instruction, at the Charles R. Parsons Administration Building between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  For those parents without online access, forms will be available at the administration building.  The enrollment brochure will provide information about the items needed for enrollment as well as useful information for all newly registered students.  Welcome to Wadsworth City Schools!
