Electronic Devices Notice regarding E-Books: Kindles - Nooks

During the 2011-2012 School Year, with permission by classroom teacher or study hall monitor, students may bring to school an electronic book device.  Under BOE Policy, and supported by the Ohio Revised Code, no electronic devices are permitted in school.  This non-transmitting device must be used in accordance with our District Authorized Use Policy (AUP). 

WADSWORTH MEMORY BOOKS ON SALE

Do you wish you had purchased a Memory Book while at the middle school?  Now is your opportunity to do so.  We have books from 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2010-11 available in the main office for $10.00.

FAQs: Closing Old and Opening New Buildings

Below are important dates on the closing of the old school buildings (WHS, Isham, Overlook, and Valley View) and the opening of the new school buildings.

Auction of Building Contents

Wadsworth City Schools will hold auctions of building contents on the dates and locations listed below.  All four auctions will be held at 4 p.m.  The public can walk the building starting at 2 p.m. and register for the auction beginning at 3 p.m. at the locations listed below. 

Erin Simpson, Overlook Elementary Principal, named OAESA's 2012 National Distinguished Principal

The Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators has selected Erin Simpson, Principal of Overlook Elementary in the Wadsworth City School District, as the winner for the OAESA 2012 National Distinguished Principal Award.  Erin will represent Ohio at the National Distinguished Principals program in Washington, D.C. in October.

Wadsworth City School’s Administration Offices have Moved

All Wadsworth City School’s Administration Offices that were located adjacent to Isham Memorial Elementary at 360 College Street have moved to Wadsworth Middle School, 150 Silvercreek Road.
