Calculators: The math department recommends the purchase of either the TI-83 or TI-84 Plus caclulator for all students taking Algebra II or above. Please see the following link for details regarding these two models. Texas Instrument Scientific calculators are sufficient for all other courses. It would be helpful to have a scientific calculator with the capability of performing operations with fractions.
