Seeking Technology Summer Student Help

The Wadsworth Technology Department is in need of five summer student workers full-time, for up to four weeks this summer, from July 13 through August 7.  The pay rate is $10/hour.  Hours of work are 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.  Interested candidates are asked to contact Dr. Michele Evans, Department of Instruction, at (330) 335-1315.  


The ideal candidate will be either a high school (Wadsworth graduates only) or college student with a computer background or an interest in information technology.  Any training required to perform tasks will be done onsite as needed.  Candidates need to be able to easily lift 40 lb. monitors and boxes throughout the summer.  It is not required, but candidates with a valid driver's license and vehicle would be ideal.  


WHS Graduation and Baccalaureate Information

Graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2015 will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the Wadsworth High School main gym.  Baccalaureate will be held on Friday, May 22, at 8:00 p.m. in the Wadsworth High School main gym.

Summer School dates 2015 / HEALTH SECOND SEMESTER ADDED

Summer school starts on June 8th and runs through July 17th.  Attached are registration forms.  Remember that in order to get credit for a summer school class you must attend every day.

Morning Announcements

There will be a quick meeting after school this Friday for all students enrolled in AP chemistry next year. The meeting will be in Mr. Schmeltzer's room 1306. You need to attend this meeting to get your book and summer assignments.

Attention juniors looking to get a jump start on your volunteer hours for next year: The Matchstick 5k race needs volunteers on the evening of Friday, June 26. Half of your required hours can be completed in one evening! Please pick up a form in the main office or see Mrs. Farr in room 1309.

Last Day of School

The last day of school for students is Thursday, May 28.  Dates for the 2015-16 school year can be found by chosing District Calendar under Quick Links on the left side of this webpage.

Student Registration Moves to Administration Building

Effective June 1, 2014, registration of all students, regardless of grade level, will be completed at the Charles R. Parsons Administration Building, 524 Broad Street (330-336-3571).  Parents/Guardians registering their student(s) may complete the required paperwork (available online) and bring it to Mrs. Linda McCann, Dept. of Instruction, at the Charles R. Parsons Administration Building between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  For those parents without online access, forms will be available at the administration building.  The enrollment brochure will provide information about the items needed for enrollment as well as useful information for all newly registered students.  Welcome to Wadsworth City Schools!
