Emergency Medical Form 2017-2018

Parents/Guardians who have been issued a Snap Code for the 2017-2018 school year may complete their student's online emergency medical form from the link provided here.

Random Drug Testing of Students

The Wadsworth Board of Education has implemented a random drug testing policy that will begin in the fall of 2017.  Any student in grades 7-12 that is planning on participating in any extra-curricular activity that is not tied to an academic grade or any student who plans on purchasing a parking pass will be subject to the testing.  Every student eligible will be tested one time prior to the start of his/her activity and then subject to monthly random tests throughout the school year.  The policy and procedures can be found by clicking here.  Testing will begin in August and more information will follow from your principal.  If you have any questions, please contact the high school (330-335-1400) or the middle school (330-335-1410).

School Emergency Guide for Parents/Guardians

District Named to College Board's 7th Annual AP District Honor Roll

Wadsworth City Schools has been named to the College Board’s 7th Annual AP® District Honor Roll. The Honor Roll recognizes 433 school districts in the U.S. and Canada that have increased access to AP coursework while maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on AP Exams.  Information about the College Board’s AP District Honor Roll can be found on their website by selecting the link provided here

WHS Meritorious Hall of Fame

The Wadsworth High School Meritorious Hall of Fame recognizes past graduates of WHS who would serve as role models for members of the current student body.  You may submit a nomination from the link provided.  Nominations must be submitted to Wadsworth High School by either the fall submission date of October 1, or the spring submission date of May 20.  This form will be kept on file for three (3) years.

Seeking a Varsity Asst. Swim Coach

Wadsworth High School has a Varsity Asst. Swim Coach position available.  Qualified and interested candidates should send a cover letter, resume, and references to Athletic Director Brad Musgrave at bmusgrave [at] wadsworthschools [dot] org.  Interested candidates are also asked to complete the coaching application listed on our AppliTrack employment link.  The position will remain open until filled.

High School Delayed Start Days

Students and Parents:

Again this year we will have 9 delayed start days for teacher collaboration time, professional development and intervention.  It will be once a month on the first Thursday of the month (unless noted).  The days are listed below.

Buses will run on a normal schedule and if your student needs to ride the bus and attend school at normal time then they will report to the commons for a study hall.  IF your student is able to arrange transportation then they do not need to attend school until our first bell which will begin at 9:35 AM.  Schedule is below.

Delayed Start Days

Sept. 7th, Oct. 12th, Nov. 2nd, Dec. 7th, Jan. 4th, Feb. 1st, Mar. 1st, Apr. 12th, May 3rd.  

Compact Programs at WHS will be held as normal on the following days.  Sept 7th, Nov. 2nd, Jan 4th, Mar 1st and May 3rd.
