To the WHS School Community:
Yesterday we received information that an isolated case of viral meningitis has been reported to our school. We have been in contact with the Medina Co. Health Dept. sharing the details of the situation and they have assured us that no danger exists to the school population.
The purpose of this call is only to inform you that such an illness has been reported. Even still we have taken extra cleaning precautions in the building. However, should your child experience the sudden onset of fever with an intense headache- accompanied by some irritability or sluggishness within the next week, please notify your family health care provider.
If you have any questions or concerns please call the school office (330) 335-1400. Thanks for your support and helping us keep our school community safe.
