Wadsworth Middle School is seeking a head middle school cheerleading coach for the winter season. Applicants must be willing to begin their duties in October 2015. Twenty-two former Wadsworth High School athletes and coaches will be inducted into the Wadsworth Sports Hall of Fame on November 14, 2015 at the Galaxy Restaurant in Wadsworth. Social hour will run from 6 to 7 p.m., with dinner served at 7 p.m. Induction ceremonies will begin immediately following dinner. Reservations are $32 for adults and $20 for children under 12 and can be made at the Athletic Office in the high school.

The Wadsworth City School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting on September 29 at 8:00 a.m. in the PD Room of the Charles R. Parsons Administration Building. The purpose of the meeting is to adopt FY15 permanent appropriations and the amended certificate of revenue, to complete a self-evaluation of the Board of Education, and any other business that may come before the Board.

Effective June 1, 2014, registration of all students, regardless of grade level, will be completed at the Charles R. Parsons Administration Building, 524 Broad Street (330-336-3571). Parents/Guardians registering their student(s) may complete the required paperwork (available online) and bring it to Mrs. Linda McCann, Dept. of Instruction, at the Charles R. Parsons Administration Building between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. For those parents without online access, forms will be available at the administration building.
