Today, the Wadsworth City School District released its fourth annual Quality Profile in conjunction with the release of the Ohio Department of Education’s Wadsworth City School District  2016-2017 State Report Card.   While the State Report Card is an important measure of student success, there are many other facets that we believe are necessary for the well-rounded education our community expects.  To gain an overall understanding of the depth of opportunities offered to our students and their resulting success, we encourage you to review not only our State Report Card but our Quality Profile as well.

Hidden in Plain Sight Hidden in Plain Sight - An Awareness Program for Parents and other Adults

"Hidden in Plain Sight " is an initiative that teaches parents signs of hidden substance abuse. Open to adults only, the program uses a recreated bedroom of a typical teenager to test parents' knowledge of common items that can be substance abuse warnings.  Click above for complete information.

Emergency Medical Form 2017-18

Parents/Guardians who have been issued a Snap Code for the 2017-2018 school year may complete their student's online emergency medical form from the link provided here.

Random Drug Testing of Students

The Wadsworth Board of Education has implemented a random drug testing policy that will begin in the fall of 2017.  Any student in grades 7-12 that is planning on participating in any extra-curricular activity that is not tied to an academic grade or any student who plans on purchasing a parking pass will be subject to the testing.  Every student eligible will be tested one time prior to the start of his/her activity and then subject to monthly random tests throughout the school year.  The policy and procedures can be found by clicking here.  Testing will begin in August and more information will follow from your principal.  If you have any questions, please contact the high school (330-335-1400) or the middle school (330-335-1410).
